Indonesian DPR Pushes for Accelerated Integrated Services for Severe Human Rights Victims

Commission XIII of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) held a hearing with several ministries and agencies to discuss non-judicial resolutions for witnesses and victims of past severe human rights violations on Thursday (2/4), with social security cited as one of the important components to reduce victims’ vulnerability. The government targets the completion of victim data updates by June so that integrated financial, health, and psychological assistance services can be provided to all victims.
