Indonesian Delegation Walks Out During Netanyahu's UN Speech

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Indonesian delegation performed a walk-out from the hall of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Thursday local time, just as the leader of the Zionist regime, Benjamin Netanyahu, prepared to deliver his speech.

As shown in footage released by the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Indonesia in New York and received in Jakarta on Friday morning, Indonesian diplomats, who were previously seated in the assembly hall, appeared to hurriedly leave their seats when Netanyahu was invited to the rostrum to deliver his national statement.

In addition to Indonesia, diplomats from various other countries were also seen leaving their seats in large numbers and exiting the room as a form of protest against the leader of the Israeli Zionist regime.

The atmosphere inside the UN General Assembly hall became tumultuous as delegates left their seats and exited the room. This commotion prompted the session chair to gavel the proceedings to request that delegates maintain order.

Queues even formed at the exits due to the high number of delegates participating in the walk-out action.

“Before I begin, if there are any moral cowards who have not yet left this hall, please do so now,” Netanyahu mocked the participants, as broadcast by UN Web TV.

According to a report by the Jerusalem Post, cited by Sputnik, Netanyahu will only spend six hours in the United States to attend the UN General Assembly session. He is also not scheduled to meet US President Donald Trump or US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Furthermore, the arrest warrant for Netanyahu issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) in 2024 remains in effect.
