Indonesian Citizens Perform Eid al-Adha Prayer at Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur
Indonesian citizens performed Eid al-Adha prayers for 1447 Hijriah at the Indonesian Embassy (KBRI) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Wednesday.
Indonesian nationals began arriving from 7:00 AM Malaysian time and filled the Hassanudin Hall on the ground floor of the Kuala Lumpur embassy for the congregational prayer. Before the prayer, attendees recited takbir together.
The prayer commenced at approximately 8:10 AM local time, with Dr H Saidul Amin, MA, rector of Universiti Muhammadiyah Malaysia (UMAM) and Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau (UMRI) in Pekanbaru, Indonesia, serving as both imam and khatib.
Indonesian Ambassador to Malaysia Raden Dato’ Mohammad Iman Hascarya Kusumo and embassy staff also attended the Eid prayer.
He expressed appreciation and gratitude to all Indonesian citizens in Malaysia for their active role in upholding the nation’s reputation and strengthening unity.
“I pray that Indonesia is always blessed with prosperity, security, progress, and peace by Allah SWT. May we all be granted health, happiness, and protection,” said Ambassador Iman.
