Indonesian Cabinet Ministers Extend Lunar New Year Greetings, Call for Unity and Prosperity
A number of economic ministers in the Red and White Cabinet extended their greetings for Lunar New Year 2026. Among them was Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Rosan Perkasa Roeslani, who also shared his hopes for the new year and called on the public to work together towards shared prosperity.

In his post, Budi Santoso wished a happy Lunar New Year 2577 Kongzili, expressing hope that the new year would bring fresh energy and good health.

Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) expressed hope for positive trends as the nation welcomed Lunar New Year 2026, particularly in terms of national development going forward.
AHY made the remarks after attending the Lunar New Year 2026 eve celebrations in Batam, Riau Islands. On his first such visit, AHY was enthusiastically welcomed by thousands of Batam residents in the Nagoya district.
"The spirit of this evening also shows that we can live in harmony, unity, and tolerance, even though Indonesia is a very large, very diverse, and very pluralistic nation," AHY said at Swissbel-hotel Harbour Bay, Batam, Riau Islands, on Tuesday (17 February 2026).
