Indonesian Blockchain Association Launches Crypto Literacy Month 2026 in Three Cities
JAKARTA – The Indonesian Blockchain Association (ABI) is once again organising Crypto Literacy Month (BLK) 2026 on 7 April 2026. This marks the fourth time the event has been held and it will include roadshows in three cities: Solo, Yogyakarta, and Manado.
Under the theme ‘Integration of Blockchain and Crypto Innovations: Realising an Inclusive Digital Ecosystem Transformation’, BLK 2026 emphasises the importance of collaboration between blockchain technology and the crypto asset ecosystem in driving broader digital transformation in Indonesia.
This reflects efforts not only to develop technology but also to ensure that its benefits are accessible to various segments of society, from industry players and developers to regulators and law enforcement.
The BLK 2026 series will be officially opened on Tuesday, 7 April 2026, at The Dome Senayan Park, South Jakarta, from 08:30 to 17:00 WIB. The opening will be attended by key figures, including the Executive Head of the Financial Sector Technology Innovation Supervisor, Digital Financial Assets, and Crypto Assets of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Adi Budiarso, and the General Chairman of the Indonesian Blockchain Association (ABI), Robby Bun.
OJK’s Executive Head of the Financial Sector Technology Innovation Supervisor, Digital Financial Assets, and Crypto Assets, Adi Budiarso, stated that crypto transaction values in Indonesia have shown fluctuating dynamics over the past five years.
Adi added that crypto assets in Indonesia contribute to state revenue through taxes amounting to Rp796.73 billion in 2026. Even up to February 2026, the figure reached Rp1.96 trillion.
This year, BLK 2026 is undertaking significant expansion by introducing two new pillars alongside the general public crypto literacy programme.
First, Blockchain Literacy Month, specifically designed for technology developers, featuring in-depth panel discussions and workshops.
Second, Crypto Literacy Month for Law Enforcement Agencies (APH), targeted at law enforcement officials, focusing on education about regulations and security in the digital asset ecosystem.
The Indonesian Blockchain Association (ABI) is launching a consumer protection portal that can be used by the public to file complaints related to various issues in the national blockchain and crypto ecosystem.
In addition to enforcing the law and protecting consumers, ABI General Chairman Robby Bun stated that the innovation aims to strengthen consumer trust in the crypto asset industry in Indonesia.
“This channel is not limited to complaints related to crypto exchanges, but also covers various other activities in the national (blockchain and crypto) ecosystem, including projects, blockchain-based services, to potential misuse that harms the public,” he said.
He explained that the complaint channel is expected to serve as a bridge between consumers and industry players to follow up and resolve any emerging issues.
“So, for friends who want to file a complaint, please do so. No need to worry about intimidation. We guarantee that the data you submit to the association is well protected in accordance with the current OJK regulations on consumer protection,” he added.
The opening ceremony will continue with a panel discussion session addressing current issues around crypto regulations, blockchain innovations, and the future of Indonesia’s digital ecosystem.
BLK 2026 is supported by official media partners including Coinvestasi, Investor Trust, and Tiger Research.
The entire Crypto Literacy Month 2026 series is open to the public. Registration can be done for free here. Follow the latest developments of BLK through the official Indonesian Blockchain Association channels.
