Indonesian Air Force Launches Special Application to Simplify Flight Permit Applications
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU), through the Security and Encryption Service of the TNI Air Force (Dispamsanau), has launched the Security Management System Flight Security Clearance application, which functions to facilitate airline operators in submitting flight permit applications. According to an official press release received in Jakarta on Tuesday, the launch of the application took place in the Antonov Persada Room at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Jakarta, on Monday (6/4). “With this application, airline operators will find it even easier to submit flight permit requests, especially for Indonesian civil aircraft that are unscheduled or non-scheduled,” said the Head of Dispamsanau, First Marshal TNI Rachmat Mestika, in the press release. Rachmat added that through this application, coordination between agencies in exchanging aviation security information can be carried out effectively. The application is also believed to support needs in the aviation sector amid the continuously developing complexity of security measures. The application launch event was attended by several TNI AU officers and the application’s developers, including Deputy Head of Air Intelligence Sub-Directorate, Colonel Pnb Erwin Harfansa, who explained the workflow and usage of the application system.
