Indonesian Agriculture Minister motivates Tadulako University graduates to achieve success through hard work

The experience of facing various limitations teaches the importance of courage to endure, work hard, and keep striving to achieve one’s goals.

Palu (ANTARA) - Indonesian Agriculture Minister Andi Amran Sulaiman motivated graduates and students of Tadulako University (Untad), Central Sulawesi, to have self-confidence, perseverance, and a strong work ethic as provisions for achieving success.

“The important thing is to have conviction. Do not complain. Work hard,” said Andi Amran Sulaiman while delivering a scientific oration in the framework of the 45th Anniversary and 138th Graduation Ceremony of Untad in Palu on Thursday.

According to him, success can be achieved by those who have the will to keep striving and developing their abilities, without being limited by a person’s background or circumstances.

“You have the right to be successful, whoever you are. It does not recognise background, does not recognise ethnicity, does not recognise university, does not recognise anything,” he said.

Furthermore, he also said that the journey towards success requires perseverance because everyone will face pressure and various challenges in achieving their goals.

On that occasion, he shared an inspirational story about his life experiences, which were full of rejection and economic limitations.

However, these conditions did not make him stop trying or lose spirit; instead, they became a trigger to work hard and shaped him to achieve success.

Therefore, he invited the younger generation to work hard and be able to see and utilise the various opportunities available in their surrounding environment, so that they are not only oriented towards seeking employment but are also able to create jobs.

The Minister said that the agricultural sector has broad opportunities for development, particularly in Central Sulawesi, which has great potential in natural resources and land.

He expressed hope that Untad graduates can utilise the knowledge and experience gained during their education to continue developing, face challenges, and contribute to society and the region.

“There is no other way; you must seize success,” he said.
