Indonesia to stage EPGA Tour event

PARIS: The European PGA Tour is to break new ground by staging
an event in Indonesia for the first time.

The Indonesian Open will be held at the Cengkareng Golf Club
in Jakarta from March 24-27 with a total prize money of US$1
million, the tour said in a press release.

The European Tour has speed its wings in recent years and
currently stages or co-stages events in China, Malaysia, South
Africa and the Gulf states among others. --AFP
