| Source: GALERT
Indonesia is set to become a cutting-edge computing hub based on artificial intelligence and quantum technology in Asia through the investment in Asia's first Quantum AI Data Centre.

The initial phase of the project, facilitated by the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), will absorb investment of USD400 million, equivalent to approximately Rp6 trillion.

The data centre will be constructed in the Tunas Prima zone, a green industrial estate located in Batam, Riau Islands, opening the door to broader collaboration with the education and mining sectors, particularly in the development of gold-based microchip supply chains.
