Indonesia to Hannover Fair
JAKARTA (JP): At least seven Indonesian companies will take part in the Hannover Fair '98 from April 20 to April 25, the National Agency for Export Development (NAFED) said yesterday.
The agency's head of the export promotion center, Sakri Widiyanto, said six of the seven Indonesian companies would occupy a 54-square-meter Indonesian pavilion.
PT United Tractor would have its own stand to exhibit its products, mainly heavy equipment.
Other Indonesian products to be displayed include industrial components, vessels, airport equipment, lighting and kitchenware.
Sakri said the Indonesian companies would seek buyers or business partners.
He said the participation of Indonesian companies was made possible partly by technical aid from the German government.
Approximately 7,300 companies from 70 countries will take part in the fair, which is expected to attract over 330,000 visitors from 100 countries. Three thousand three hundred of the companies come from outside Germany. (gis)
