Indonesia to Halt Diesel Imports This Year Following B50 Mandate
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia confirmed that Indonesia will stop importing diesel fuel this year, following the implementation of the mandatory 50 percent biodiesel blend (B50). The policy aims to bolster national energy security and reduce reliance on foreign fuel supplies.
In a separate development, President Prabowo Subianto stated that Indonesia’s production of rice and corn has reached the highest level in the nation’s history. This achievement aligns with the country’s attainment of self-sufficiency in several key food commodities.
