JAKARTA (Xinhua) - Indonesia intends to create the best financial management system in the Association of Southeast Asia Nations (ASEAN) ahead of the realization of ASEAN Community by 2015, a minister said here on Wednesday.

Finance Minister Agus Martowardojo told a parliamentary hearing that, however, Indonesia has a tough task in materializing the purpose.

"As Indonesia will be included in the ASEAN Community in 2015, its information technology (IT) system should be in line with those in its neighboring countries such as Singapore
and Malaysia, " said Martowardojo. Therefore, he said, Indonesia needs an integrated IT system to make things more efficient.

He said that Indonesia intend to make the integrated financial system in 2011.
