Indonesia to be Official Partner Country of Russia's INNOPROM 2026
Indonesia has been named the official partner country for the INNOPROM 2026 industrial exhibition in Ekaterinburg, Russia, scheduled for 6-9 July 2026. The Indonesian delegation will be led by Industry Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita. Four key industrial sectors will participate: Metals, Machinery, Transportation Equipment, and Electronics (ILMATE); Agro-industry covering Agriculture, Plantations, Food, and Bio-industry; Small, Medium, and Miscellaneous Industries (IKMA); and the Chemical, Pharmaceutical, and Textile Industries (IKFT). Russian Ambassador to Indonesia Sergey Tolchenov confirmed the minister’s attendance and expressed hope for a large delegation. The minister is also scheduled to pay a courtesy call on Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. Indonesia will host a national pavilion to showcase products, technology, and industrial achievements to Russian and international partners. The participation is seen as a strategic move to expand Indonesia’s market access to non-traditional partners, including Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), to support national economic growth targets.
