Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Rosan Roeslani visited the facilities of Chinese solar energy giant Longi Green Energy Technology in China. He was personally welcomed by Chairman of Longi Green Energy Technology, Baoshen Zhong.

Rosan stated that this visit is crucial for the development of the solar energy industry in Indonesia. According to him, Longi Green Energy Technology has excellent facilities.

“Strengthening the solar energy industry is one of the focuses of the visit to LONGI Green Energy Technology’s facilities in China, in line with efforts to promote the development of new renewable energy in Indonesia,” he said, quoted from the Instagram account @rosanroeslani, on Wednesday (15/4/2026).

“We hope this becomes part of the national energy transformation while strengthening Indonesia’s position in the global renewable energy industrial ecosystem,” added the CEO of the Danantara Investment Management Agency.

This visit also opens opportunities for cooperation in photovoltaic technology development, manufacturing capacity enhancement, and supply chain integration. This is to support the government’s steps in promoting industrial downstreaming.

“Collaboration opportunities that encompass photovoltaic technology development, manufacturing capacity enhancement, and supply chain integration can support industrial downstreaming effectively,” said Rosan.
