Indonesia Strengthens Sustainability Ecosystem to Accelerate Green Economic Transformation
Indonesia is committed to collectively strengthening the national sustainability ecosystem, accelerating the green economic transformation, and promoting more resilient and inclusive Indonesian competitiveness on the global stage. This was affirmed at the Indonesia Sustainability 360 Forum 2026.
The forum, set to take place on 19-20 August 2026 at The Sultan Hotel in Jakarta, serves as an initial step to align the vision, strategies, and agenda of the forum. Under the theme “Indonesia’s Sustainability Leap: Driving the Future of National Competitiveness”, the forum is designed with a 360-degree approach that brings together various dimensions of sustainability within an integrated ecosystem.
The organising committee for the Indonesia Sustainability 360 Forum involves Olahkarsa, Indonesia Business Council for Sustainable Development (IBCSD), Biosirkular, SURBAND ID, and Inovasi Muda, which together bring cross-sector perspectives to ensure the forum comprehensively addresses sustainability transformation needs.
“The Indonesia Sustainability 360 Forum 2026 is designed to provide a more comprehensive collaboration space, where business strategies, policies, innovations, talent, and sustainability actions can interconnect. Through the 360-degree approach, we aim to drive sustainability transformation that is not only strategically relevant but also has real impact on Indonesia’s competitiveness,” stated Chairman of the Indonesia Sustainability 360 Forum 2026, Unggul Yoga Ananta, in a written statement on Wednesday, 13 May 2026.
Amid rising demands for a green economy and global competitiveness, this forum emerges as a strategic dialogue space that connects public policies, business practices, technological innovations, and talent development simultaneously.
The cross-sector approach forms the core of this forum, ensuring that sustainability transformation is not discussed in isolation but as part of a cohesive and impactful national movement.
