Indonesia-Russia Trade Value Reaches Rp87.5 Trillion by End of 2025

Kazan - Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov revealed that the trade value between Russia and Indonesia has increased more than twofold over the past five years, reaching 5 billion US dollars (equivalent to Rp87.5 trillion) by the end of 2025.

“In the past five years, the trade turnover between our two countries has increased more than twofold, approaching 5 billion US dollars by the end of 2025,” Manturov stated on Tuesday.

In the meeting of the Russia-Indonesia joint commission on trade, economy, and technical cooperation, Manturov acknowledged that the trade projection for 2026 has been slightly revised downward.

He also conveyed that Russia sees opportunities to expand industrial cooperation with Indonesia in several sectors.

Several sectors with greater potential to strengthen Russia-Indonesia industrial cooperation include metallurgy, shipbuilding, and pharmaceuticals, Manturov said.
