Indonesia Releases Official 2027 Hajj Operational Schedule
Indonesia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (Kemenhaj) has officially released the operational schedule for the 2027 Hajj season, also known as the 1448 Hijriyah Hajj season. This schedule serves as the primary guide for all critical stages to ensure the smooth execution of the upcoming pilgrimage.
The entire operational schedule for the 2027 Hajj will be prepared from mid-2026 through to its implementation in 2027. Understanding the detailed timelines is crucial to ensure administrative preparations proceed smoothly without missing any steps.
Initial Preparations in 2026
The Hajj 1448 H preparations begin in mid-2026 with administrative and accommodation arrangements. The detailed schedule for 2026 is as follows:
29 May 2026 (12 Dhu al-Hijjah 1447 AH): Initial document processing and Hajj 1448 H schedule setup.
30 June 2026 (15 Muharram 1448 AH): Start of accommodation preferences in Mecca and Medina, including districts, hotel or lodge types, and star ratings.
15 July 2026 (1 Safar 1448 AH): Activation of fund transfers to the Nusuk Masar electronic wallet, airline appointments, and air entry point determination.
29 July 2026 (15 Safar 1448 AH): Commencement of tent reservation confirmation, comprehensive package contracts, and air transport contract documentation. Also starts Nusuk card distribution preferences and completion of accommodation preferences.
13 August 2026 (30 Safar 1448 AH): Deadline for tent reservation confirmation and the addition of new Hajj travel operators.
14 August 2026 (1 Rabi’ al-Awwal 1448 AH): Start of preparatory meetings, pilgrim movement preferences, drafting medical and media service contracts, uploading pilgrim or delegation data, and business plan deadline.
26 September 2026 (15 Rabi’ al-Thani 1448 AH): Deadline for Hajj registration announcements, airline appointments, medical and media service contracts, and Hajj Affairs Office data upload phase.
8 November 2026 (28 Jumada al-Awwal 1448 AH): Signing of the Hajj Management Agreement and pilgrim movement preference agreements. Also the deadline for airline contract documents.
24 December 2026 (15 Rajab 1448 AH): Deadline for transferring funds for comprehensive package contracts and deposits into the Nusuk Masar electronic wallet.
2027 Pilgrim Arrival Schedule
After the year change, stages will focus on individual pilgrim document processing, visa issuance, and welcoming in Saudi Arabia. The schedule is as follows:
23 January 2027 (15 Shaban 1448 AH): Deadline for comprehensive package contracts via the official Nusuk Masar platform.
28 January 2027 (20 Shaban 1448 AH): Deadline for pilgrim data upload, mandatory training period, and professional certifications. Visa issuance begins at this stage.
9 March 2027 (1 Shawwal 1448 AH): Deadline for visa issuance and medication permit approvals via the Nusuk Masar platform.
8 April 2027 (1 Dhu al-Qi’dah 1448 AH): Deadline for visa cancellation requests. Official pilgrim arrival phase begins.
27 April 2027 (20 Dhu al-Qi’dah 1448 AH): Inspection visits to tent areas conducted with Saudi service provider companies.
