Indonesia, Ras Al Khaimah Hold Investment Talks

Jakarta. Indonesia and the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah recently held investment talks.

Indonesian Ambassador to United Arab Emirates (UAE) Judha Nugraha held a courtesy call with Ras Al Khaimah’s ruler Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi a few days ago. Indonesian Consul General in Dubai Denny Lesmana was also present.

According to an embassy press release, the talks saw both parties affirming their commitment to boost ties across various spheres.

“That includes investment, trade, employment, tourism, education, health, and developing relationships between business communities,” the release wrote.

Judha went on to say that Indonesia is ready to expand “a mutually beneficial cooperation”. Southeast Asia’s largest economy is also ready to provide workers to support the rapid growth of tourism and hospitality sectors in Ras Al Khaimah.

Ras Al Khaimah is one of seven emirates in the United Arab Emirates, known as a new economic growth center with strengths in the manufacturing, tourism, property, and industrial estate sectors.

In recent years, Ras Al Khaimah has developed rapidly as an international investment and tourism destination, offering a competitive and welcoming business climate for foreign investors.

Indonesia and the UAE is celebrating 50 years of diplomatic ties in 2026.
