Indonesia Punya Kamu 2026 Held in Yogyakarta, Offers Intergenerational Collaboration Space

Garuda TV successfully organised Indonesia Punya Kamu 2026: Connecting Generations at the Gelanggang Inovasi dan Kreativitas (GIK) of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), Yogyakarta, on Friday (12/6/2026). Attended by more than 1,200 university students from various campuses in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, the activity served as a collaborative space bringing together the younger generation with national leaders, academics, industry practitioners, and public figures to dialogue on various strategic national issues. Garuda TV President Director Fahmi M Anwari stated that Indonesia Punya Kamu is a collaboration space that unites ideas, experiences, and the spirit of change from different generations to build a better future for Indonesia. ‘Through Indonesia Punya Kamu: Connecting Generations, we see the high enthusiasm of the younger generation to dialogue, learn, and collaborate,’ he said in a statement quoted on Monday (15/6/2026). He expressed hope that such a space could continue to serve as a bridge connecting various perspectives, thus generating constructive ideas for Indonesia’s progress. The event was opened by the Vice Rector for Research, Business Development, and Cooperation of Universitas Gadjah Mada, Dr Danang Sri Hadmoko. In the main discussion session, the Director General of Research and Development at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Dr Mohammad Fauzan Adziman, S.T., M.Eng, and the Head of the Energy and Manufacturing Research Organisation at BRIN, Prof. Dr. Cuk Supriyadi Ali Nandar, S.T., M.Eng, discussed the strategic role of higher education in driving research, innovation, and human resource development to support national energy resilience and the transition towards a sustainable future. The discussion continued through a panel themed ‘The Role of Higher Education in Supporting National Energy Resilience’, featuring PLN Puslitbang General Manager Mochamad Soleh, UGM energy expert Dr Ahmad Agus Setiawan, and National Energy Council (DEN) Member Dr Ir Satya Widya Yudha. Hosted by Garuda TV’s Tysa Novenny, the discussion explored the contribution of the education sector in addressing national energy challenges while preparing superior human resources for the future. In addition to the discussion forum, participants also took part in a Media Class & Workshop consisting of a News Broadcasting Class and a TV Business Class with professional media practitioners. This activity provided insights into the television and media industry in the digital era, with material delivered by Garuda TV editorial members and talents, including Elly Husin and Jemmy Darusman. Indonesia Punya Kamu: Connecting Generations was also enlivened by a special performance from Jui Purwoto, a national comic who entertained participants with fresh and relevant stand-up comedy material. There was also a musical performance from Nabila Taqiyyah, a talented young Indonesian singer who added vibrancy to the atmosphere. The Indonesia Punya Kamu 2026: Connecting Generations series continued on Monday, 15 June 2026, presenting the Nusantara Young Leaders (NYL), a youth leadership forum in collaboration with the Adidaya Institute. This forum serves as a capacity-building space for the younger generation to expand networks, national insight, and enhance the leadership skills needed to face global challenges. On Monday, 15 June 2026, at the same location, GIK UGM, at 19.00 WIB, a Kopdar Total Politik: ‘Ayo Bicara Politik Bareng Mas Dar’ was also held, a public dialogue forum featuring Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of State Secretary; Nusron Wahid, Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency; Budiman Sudjatmiko, Head of the Agency for the Acceleration of Poverty Alleviation; and Sudaryono, Vice Minister of Agriculture. This forum serves as an open discussion space for the younger generation and the public to discuss various national issues and national development directly with policymakers.
