Presidential Staff Chief Muhammad Qodari said the “0% Pocket Book: Benefits and Beneficiaries of Welfare Support 2026” compiles government aid schemes into a single, integrated framework to improve accessibility and targeting.

“This book is designed to make it easier for people to understand and access various government support programs,” Qodari said at a press conference in Jakarta.

He said the guide maps welfare support across an individual’s life cycle, underscoring the government’s approach to sustained assistance from pregnancy through old age.

“This reflects the policy direction that welfare is not a one-off intervention, but continuous support throughout life,” he added.

The programs listed include the Family Hope Program (PKH), staple food assistance, electricity subsidies, business support, the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) initiative, Free Health Check-ups (CKG), Sekolah Rakyat schools, and subsidies for National Health Insurance (JKN) premiums.

All programs are integrated through the National Socio-Economic Single Data (DTSEN) system, which the government says is key to improving data accuracy and preventing overlap in aid distribution.

The integration is also expected to ensure that assistance reaches intended beneficiaries more effectively.

“All welfare programs in 2026 are designed to be integrated and sustainable, with direct impact on communities,” Qodari said.

He added that the government aims not only to provide assistance but also to build a foundation for healthier, better-educated, and more productive citizens.

The initiative is part of broader efforts to strengthen social protection and improve public service delivery.

Earlier, Social Affairs Minister Saifullah Yusuf met Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya on April 6 to review progress on the Sekolah Rakyat program and coordination in distributing social assistance.

Yusuf said the program has shown positive developments, particularly in students’ achievements at national and international levels.
