At the Basman Palace, he stressed that lasting Middle East peace requires a two-state solution guaranteeing an independent and sovereign Palestinian state.

He pledged Indonesia would actively push for the implementation of the two-state solution.

Prabowo said Indonesia’s participation in the Board of Peace and its support for U.S. President Donald Trump’s 20-point Gaza peace plan reflect its commitment to achieving durable peace.

He noted that Indonesia and Jordan share a common stance on promoting regional stability and called for closer cooperation and intensified communication.

“We hope this close partnership will bolster our shared position, as I believe we are on the same platform as Jordan and other countries in the region,” he said.

Prabowo added that Indonesia seeks to remain fully informed about developments and reaffirmed support for Jordan’s ongoing efforts.

The visit began with a state ceremony, followed by a photo session and inspection of the guard of honor. The two leaders then held a one-on-one meeting before convening bilateral talks between their delegations.
