Indonesia in French expo

JAKARTA (JP): Indonesia, the partner country at the Hannover
Messe '95 fair last April, will be the guest of honor at the
SITEF '95 high technology exhibition in Toulouse, France, from
Oct. 24 to Oct. 28, 1995.

"Indonesia is the first developing country in the Asia-Pacific
region to be chosen as the guest of honor in this exhibition,"
said Thareq K. Habibie, vice president of PT Prodin, an
exhibition organizer representing Indonesia at SITEF.

Thareq, who is also the second son of State Minister for
Research and Technology B.J. Habibie, said in a statement here
yesterday that as the guest of honor, Indonesia will be provided
a strategic location at the main entrance and it will be the
focus of international visitors.

Prodin is providing an opportunity for Indonesian
entrepreneurs to promote their products and services abroad, he
