Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has revealed that Indonesia is the country with the highest number of mining permits in the world. This was disclosed by the Director General of Minerals and Coal, Tri Winarno, during a public hearing with Commission XII of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) on Wednesday, 7 May 2025.
