Indonesia Earns US$1,8 Million at Dubai’s Furniture Exhibition
TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:Indonesia earned US$1,8 million worth of transactions at the international furniture exhibition in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. The figure is 22.27 percent higher than that of last year’s. “This is due to the construction projects in the Middle East going on, and they need furniture to fill the new buildings,” National Export Development Agency chief, Bachrul Chairi said, contacted by Tempo yesterday.
Bachrul said that the government will keep on looking for opportunities and open market access for non-oil and gas products in countries which were not the main export destinations.
