Indonesia duo win APBFC bridge title

JAKARTA (JP): Indonesia's top pair of Henky Lasut and Eddy
Manoppo proved that they are the best in Asia after winning the
open pairs event at the Asia Pacific Bridge Federation Congress
in Macau late Sunday night.

Eddy and Hengky collected 571.5 match points (MP)in the
competition, in which 122 pairs participated. Only 32 pairs
reached the final round.

Antara reported that runners, up Nelson Hsia/Huwang S of
Chinese Taipei amassed 536 MP and countrymates Thomas Ng/ LL Lee
finished third with 522.2 MP. (yan)
