Indonesia Condemns Israel's Rejection of Gaza Recovery Roadmap

The Indonesian government has strongly condemned the Zionist Israeli regime’s rejection of a 15-point roadmap for the recovery of the Gaza Strip. The rejection is viewed as a deliberate attempt to undermine the international agreement.

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Vahd Nabyl A. Mulachela stated that the roadmap represents a collective effort by the global community. Its purpose is to ensure the restoration of life for the Palestinian people in Gaza following the prolonged conflict.

“We reject any refusal that could derail this collective effort,” Nabyl said during a press briefing in Jakarta on Thursday. He added that the extensive plan is supported by many parties to end the war and create stability for the Palestinian people.

Nabyl further noted that the Gaza recovery plan has received international legitimacy through UN Security Council Resolution 2803, adopted in November 2025. Indonesia urged all parties to return to the principles of compliance and full commitment to implementing the document.

The condemnation follows Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s earlier rejection of the 15-point roadmap, which was drafted by US President Donald Trump and the Board of Peace. Netanyahu insisted that Israeli forces would not withdraw from Gaza until Hamas is completely disarmed.

In contrast, Hamas has expressed its commitment to adhering to the roadmap. The group stated its readiness to engage responsibly in establishing a timeline for the second phase of the peace plan, a move expected to pave the way for a massive reconstruction process and allow the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza to assume its authority in the post-conflict period.
