Indonesia Condemns Israel's Attack on Lebanon
Indonesia has strongly condemned Israel’s attacks on Lebanon, including Beirut. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu) of the Republic of Indonesia states that these attacks constitute a serious violation of international law.
Hundreds of people have been killed and several public facilities reported damaged due to Israel’s attacks on Lebanon.
According to the Kemlu RI, Israel’s attacks on Lebanon risk worsening regional tensions. This was conveyed through the social media platform X on Thursday (9/4).
Therefore, Indonesia urges that the military aggression and Israel’s attacks on Lebanon be stopped.
The safety of civilians is paramount. Indonesia hopes that all parties will undertake de-escalation efforts, prioritise dialogue, and avoid actions that could worsen the situation.
