Indonesia central bank not worried about rupiah

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Bank Indonesia, the central bank, is not worried about the weakening of the rupiah as the fall is likely to be temporary, deputy governor Budi Mulya was quoted by Reuters as telling reporters on Friday.

The rupiah was the worst performing currency in Asia last year and has also weakened almost 1 percent since the start of this year. (*)
