Indonesia blocks 3.7 million online gambling content, boosts global event hosting

The Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi) has recorded the blocking of 3.7 million sites and content related to online gambling since 20 October 2024 until 12 July 2026.

Meanwhile, Tourism Minister Widiyanti Putri Wardhana assessed that Indonesia is increasingly trusted to host various international activities, such as music concerts, which attract global tourists.
