Indonesia Announces 25-Player Squad for the 2026 ASEAN Futsal Championship
The Indonesian Futsal Federation (FFI) has officially announced the 25 players who will be included in the preliminary squad for the Indonesian national futsal team. This selection is part of the intensive preparations for the 2026 ASEAN Futsal Championship, which is scheduled to take place in Nonthaburi, Thailand, from April 5-12, 2026.
This announcement marks the initial stage of forming the Garuda squad before entering the centralised training camp phase to determine the final composition of the team that will compete in the regional tournament.
The FFI stated that the 25 selected players are the result of in-depth selection and monitoring by the coaching team throughout the domestic competition.
All players on this list come from clubs participating in the Pro Futsal League (PFL), which proves that the top-tier competition remains the main breeding ground for national futsal talent.
The federation has confirmed that this list is preliminary. The next stage is the announcement of a shorter list of players who will be called up to participate in the centralised training camp.
The players are expected to maintain their performance and physical condition in the remaining league matches to secure a place in the final squad.
The composition of the 25 players consists of three goalkeepers, four anchors, 10 flank players, five pivots, and three all-around players. The complete list is as follows:
