Indonesia Adil Makmur: Paskibraka Team at Flag-Lowering Ceremony

The Heritage Flag Hoisting Troop (Paskibraka) team became the ‘Indonesia Adil Makmur’ team tasked with carrying out the lowering ceremony of the Red and White State Flag at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Monday afternoon (17/8).

In the flag-lowering procession marking the 81st anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia, the finest young men and women from various provinces across Indonesia were grouped into a team named ‘Indonesia Adil Makmur’.

In the main formation, Neeltje Deliana Insjowi Werimon, representing Papua Province, was entrusted as the bearer of the Red and White flag. The student from SMA Negeri 8 Jayapura carried out one of the key duties in the procession of lowering the Red and White in the grounds of Merdeka Palace.

Meanwhile, according to a release from the Presidential Secretariat, the reserve position for the tray bearer was entrusted to Ismi Ulfaida, a female Paskibraka member from West Sulawesi Province who is a student at Sekolah Rakyat.

In other formation elements, Atanasius Meyllano Frans Yogar from East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province, a student at SMA Katolik Giovanni Kupang, was appointed as Commander of Group 8. The task of flag lowerer was assigned to Maharazthu Rizqhy Ramadhana Chubuyana, a Paskibraka representative from West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province who studies at SMAN 1 Taliwang.

Meanwhile, Mirza Rafi Navazani from West Kalimantan Province, a student at SMAN 1 Sintang, was entrusted with the task of flag unfurler.

For other formations, the position of Commander of Group 17 was entrusted to Baruno Wicaksono, a Paskibraka member from West Java Province who attends SMA Taruna Nusantara Cimahi.

Meanwhile, the task of Paskibraka Company Commander was entrusted to Captain Pnb Bagus Setianto, who currently serves as Kapokops Flight FGS Skadud 5 Wingud 5 Lanud Sultan Hasanuddin.

The appointment of the ‘Indonesia Adil Makmur’ Paskibraka Team formed an important part of the series of commemorations for the 81st anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia.

The Paskibraka members carried out the mandate in the procession of lowering the Red and White with full discipline, honour and responsibility, while also serving as representatives of Indonesia’s young generation in upholding national values and the spirit of independence.
