INDONESIA: A homemade bomb exploded on Friday evening at around
10 p.m. in Poso regency, Central Sulawesi, injuring six people.

The bomb exploded in Kasiguncu subdistrict, Poso Pesisir
district, during a traditional dance performance by local
residents, Antara reported.

The injured were identified as Yulian Lapa, 56, Sujiati, 21,
Syaiful, 16, Darus, 23, Joni Latola, 21, and Kadir, 16.

The news agency said the bomb was planted in front of the
Kasiguncu subdistrict office on the Palu-Poso road, near a public
transportation vehicle parked along the road. The vehicle driver
survived the blast, because he had joined other villagers to
watch the dance.

Three of the victims, Sujiati, Darus and Kadir, are still
being treated at Poso General Hospital for serious injuries,
while the other three have been released.

Police have yet to make a statement on the incident. -- Antara
