Indonesia 3rd quarter GDP grows 5.52 pct
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesia's gross domestic product grew 3.49 pct in the third quarter compared to the previous three months and was up 5.52 pct year-on-year, said Central Bureau of Statistics chief Rusman Heriawan.
The figures met market expectations.
Twelve economists polled by XFN-Asia were looking at quarter-on-quarter growth of between 1.8 pct and 3.92 pct with the annual rate seen at 5.1-6.11 pct.
In the third quarter of last year GDP expanded 5.6 pct year-on-year. (*)
