Indomobil Prepares to Introduce Leapmotor B10 Electric Vehicle at GIIAS 2026

Beijing (ANTARA) - PT Indomobil National Distributor, together with Stellantis, will soon introduce the latest Leapmotor B10 electric vehicle to the national automotive market in mid-2026. The compact sports utility vehicle (SUV) is scheduled to make its debut at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026 in Tangerang, Banten. Chief Executive Officer of PT Indomobil National Distributor, Tan Kim Piauw, stated when met at the Beijing Auto Show in Beijing, China, on Sunday, that the company has prepared a production strategy to strengthen the presence of the product in Indonesia. “Indomobil has prepared a local production plan to introduce this new product to all parties at the GIIAS event in the middle of this year,” said Tan Kim Piauw. In addition, the vehicle is equipped with a Personal Panel Dashboard feature that allows users, particularly the younger generation, to customise the interior appearance through decorative accessories. In terms of performance, the electric vehicle offers a range of up to 516 kilometres on a single full charge based on the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) standard. The launch of this model is seen as part of Indomobil’s strategy to expand its electric vehicle portfolio while addressing market needs for low-emission transportation. Its presence will enrich the Stellantis Brand House portfolio, while strengthening competition in the national electric vehicle segment. This step also reflects the national automotive industry’s efforts to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles through strengthened local production and the introduction of new technologies.
