Indomobil Emotor Targets 50,000 Unit Sales This Year
Jakarta – Indomobil Emotor can be considered a relatively new player in Indonesia’s electric motorcycle market. However, with a fairly diverse product portfolio and the strength of the large Indomobil Group backing it, the brand is confident in competing in the two-wheeled electric vehicle segment.
Currently, Indomobil Emotor has four electric motorcycle models: Adora, Tyranno, Sprinto, and the latest model QT. According to company officials, current sales are distributed approximately as follows: around 40 per cent Tyranno, 40 per cent Adora, and 20 per cent Sprinto. However, these proportions are beginning to shift, with Adora and Sprinto sales becoming increasingly balanced.
As a new brand in the market, the company’s sales performance in its first year has been deemed quite positive. The company achieved approximately 8,000 unit sales last year since launching in February 2025.
For this year, the company is targeting significantly higher sales growth as consumer interest in electric vehicles increases. Company officials expressed considerable optimism about achieving this target, whilst acknowledging that sales typically move more slowly in the early part of the year.
Citing positive market feedback for its products, Indomobil Emotor is confident that it can strengthen its position in the national electric motorcycle market over the coming years, despite current economic conditions affecting early-year sales performance.
