Indomobil confirms Leapmotor B10 price will not exceed Rp500 million

PT Indomobil National Distributor has confirmed that the fully electric Leapmotor B10 SUV will be priced below Rp500 million on-the-road in the Greater Jakarta area. Chief Executive Officer Tan Kim Piauw stated the pricing is intended to be highly competitive against rivals such as the Geely EX5. The company hopes the relatively accessible price point will encourage consumers to switch to electric vehicles without excessive financial outlay. The Leapmotor B10 is built on the LEAP 3.5 platform featuring cell-to-chassis technology and is equipped with a 67.1 kWh battery. Internal testing indicates a range of up to 516 kilometres, while the WLTP standard rates the vehicle at approximately 434 kilometres. With its combination of competitive pricing and promising specifications, the B10 is poised to become a notable new contender in Indonesia’s electric vehicle market.
