Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — Staff at Indomaret staged a protest at the company’s headquarters in Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK), North Jakarta, on Tuesday, 26 May 2026. Employees are protesting a policy change that replaces overtime pay for public holidays with compensatory leave, threatening larger demonstrations if their demands are not met.

Indomaret is a franchise brand under PT Indomarco Prismatama, a subsidiary of PT Indoritel Makmur Internasional Tbk (DNET), owned by Anthoni Salim.

According to the March 2026 financial report, the company reported improved performance. Net sales for Indomarco Prismatama reached Rp33.15 trillion as of 31 March 2026, a 14.15% increase from the same period last year’s Rp29.04 trillion.

Attributable profit for the period rose 3.67% year-on-year to Rp489.01 billion.

On the balance sheet, total assets stood at Rp58.48 trillion as of end-March 2026, while total liabilities reached Rp33.34 trillion.

Current assets for Indomarco decreased to Rp27.84 trillion from Rp30.55 trillion at the end of 2025, while non-current assets rose to Rp30.64 trillion from Rp29.71 trillion.

Total liabilities fell to Rp33.34 trillion compared to Rp35.62 trillion at the end of 2025.

DNET holds a 40% stake in Indomarco, meaning the company contributed Rp195.31 billion to DNET’s profits, equivalent to 83.28% of DNET’s total profit as of March 2026.

DNET is also a shareholder in PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk (ROTI) and PT Fast Food Indonesia Tbk (FAST), but the profit contribution from these two companies is minimal compared to Indomaret. Sari Roti’s producer contributed Rp571 million to DNET’s profits, while KFC’s operator contributed Rp4.98 billion.
