Indofood, Permata to boost services
JAKARTA: Food products manufacturer PT Indofood Sukses Makmur
Tbk and PT Bank Permata Tbk have signed a joint agreement to
boost services for their customers.
Under the agreement signed Wednesday, they would issue a co-
branded credit card licensed by Visa and MasterCard
International, said a statement.
"Loyalty Card" holders will not only be able to order Indofood
products by phone or via the Internet, but will also be privy to
special services from the company, including a chance to taste
new products and receiving bulletins from the company.
In the first year, the statement said, the companies would
target 10,000 customers in Greater Jakarta and seek to expand the
number to 20,000 next year.
"In the coming years, all branch offices of Indofood and
Permata nationwide will provide similar services to their
customers," it said.
Indofood is the country's leading food products manufacturer,
while Bank Permata was established through the merger of Bank
Bali, Bank Universal, Bank Artha Media, Bank Prima Ekspress and
Bank Patriot. -- JP
