Indocement receives ISO 14001
JAKARTA: Publicly listed cement company PT Indocement Tunggal Perkasa received on Wednesday an ISO 14001 certificate for its environmental management system.
The certificate was issued by the International Certification Service SGS Switzerland SA in a ceremony held at Citeureup, Bogor, West Java, where the company is located.
"We have chosen to build up the standardization of our environmental management system in stages, starting from local standards, as required by law, and then going on to international standards," the company said in a statement.
Aside from the ISO 14001 certificate, the company received the ISO 9002 certificate in 1995. -- JP
