Indictment Hearing for Former Communications Ministry Informatics Chief Semuel Abrijani Postponed
The hearing for the indictment of the Director General of Informatics Applications (Aptika) at the Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kemenkominfo) for the period 2016-2024, Semuel Abrijani Pangerapan, regarding the corruption case involving Kemenkominfo civil servants, has been postponed until tomorrow, Thursday (26 February). The hearing was postponed because the prosecutor was not yet ready with the indictment.
“So, it will be tomorrow, and it will still be the indictment from the Public Prosecutor,” said the head of the panel of judges, Lucy Ermawati, at the Jakarta Central Corruption Court on Wednesday (25 February 2026).
The postponement of the indictment hearing also applies to the other four defendants in this case. The judge then adjourned the hearing.
“The defendants will remain in custody, the hearing is adjourned,” the judge concluded.
Previously, the indictment hearing for Semuel Abrijani Pangerapan was held at the Jakarta Corruption Court on Monday (10 November 2025). The prosecutor charged Semuel and the other four defendants with causing state losses amounting to Rp 140.86 billion in connection with the alleged corruption case in the procurement of goods and services and the management of the National Data Centre (PDNS) at Kemenkominfo for the period 2020-2022.
The prosecutor stated that this corruption was allegedly committed by Semuel by abusing his authority to enrich PT Aplikanusa Lintasarta by the amount of the state losses and by receiving bribes amounting to Rp 6 billion. The other four defendants in this case are:
Director of Business at PT Aplikanusa Lintasarta for the period 2014-2022, Alfi Asman.
Director of Government Informatics Application Services at the Directorate General of Aptika, Kemenkominfo, for the period 2019-2023, Bambang Dwi Anggono.
Nova Zanda, as the Commitment-Making Officer (PPK) in the procurement of goods or services and the management of PDNS at Kemenkominfo for the period 2020-2022.
Pini Panggar Agusti, as the Account Manager at PT Dokotel Teknologi for the period 2017-2021.
“Committing or participating in an act of unlawful conduct, namely committing an act, enriching oneself or another person, or a corporation, namely PT Aplikanusa Lintasarta, which harms the state’s finances or economy by Rp 140,858,124,470 (140.8 billion),” said the prosecutor while reading the indictment.
