Indian cities top investor list

SINGAPORE: Three Indian cities are expected to be the top
destinations for Asian real estate investors, edging out Jakarta
and Taipei, a property consultant's survey said on Friday.

Jones Lang Lasalle (JLL) surveyed more than 30 real estate
investors primarily from Europe.

Mumbai (Bombay), Bangalore and Delhi emerged as the top three
destinations, with Jakarta fourth and Taipei fifth.

Singapore ranked 9th on the list of 14 Asian countries, with
Shanghai and Beijing close to the bottom. -- DPA
