Independent Assurance and Verification Services Ensure Smoothness of Eid al-Fitr Homecoming Facilities
Violations of truck operational restrictions exacerbate congestion.
PT Surveyor Indonesia (Persero) continues to play an active role in ensuring the smoothness and safety of facilities used by the public during the 2026 Eid al-Fitr homecoming period.
Through various assurance and independent verification services, Surveyor Indonesia ensures that vital sectors, from transportation and telecommunications to halal product guarantees, operate optimally to support public mobility and comfort during the homecoming season.
PT Surveyor Indonesia (Persero) President Director Fajar Wibhiyadi stated that as part of support for the national transportation sector, the company ensures the quality and safety of new-generation train carriages through oversight of the manufacturing process.
These carriages, he said, have been assembled into 10 trainsets now operating along railway lines across Java and ready to serve the public during the Eid al-Fitr homecoming period. This oversight is conducted to ensure that every train set meets established quality, safety, and comfort standards.
In addition to intercity transportation, Fajar continued, Surveyor Indonesia ensures smooth public mobility within cities through Buy The Services (BTS) services. Through this service, the company ensures that urban bus service standards remain safe, comfortable, and reliable for the public engaging in activities in their hometowns during the homecoming period.
“Currently, Surveyor Indonesia is present in 10 cities in Indonesia, namely Depok, Surakarta, Bandung, Medan, Surabaya, Palembang, Banjarmasin, Banyumas, Balikpapan, and Manado, overseeing 38 bus service corridors in those cities,” Fajar explained on Wednesday (18/3/2026).
He explained that besides mass transportation, Surveyor Indonesia plays a role in ensuring the quality and compliance of the motor vehicle manufacturing industry, including private cars, low-cost green cars (LCGC), and electric vehicles produced in Indonesia.
Through independent verification and inspection services for production processes and compliance with industry standards, Surveyor Indonesia helps ensure that vehicles circulating in the market maintain high levels of safety, quality, and reliability.
“This role becomes increasingly relevant ahead of the Eid holiday period, when private cars become one of the main modes of transportation for the public undertaking long-distance homecoming trips to various regions in Indonesia,” he clarified.
On the digital infrastructure side, Surveyor Indonesia plays a role in ensuring the reliability of telecommunication networks that support essential public services for the community.
This is done by ensuring the operation of the SATRIA-1 satellite, which provides internet access to 30,017 public service points across Indonesia, including health facilities and local government services.
“With this connectivity support, the public can continue to access public services optimally during the homecoming and Eid holiday period,” he explained.
Not only that, he continued, Surveyor Indonesia ensures public comfort in consuming food products during Eid celebrations in their hometowns through its role as the Primary Halal Inspection Agency.
“To date, we have conducted halal inspection processes for 4,575 business actors, both domestic and international, to ensure that circulating products meet halal standards in accordance with applicable regulations,” he explained.
Fajar stated that the company’s role as Guardian of Assurance is an important part in ensuring that various public services continue to operate optimally during the Eid homecoming momentum.
“The Eid homecoming momentum is one of the largest public mobilities in Indonesia. Therefore, we are committed to ensuring that various infrastructures and public services used by the community, from transportation, digital connectivity, to halal product guarantees, meet quality, safety, and reliability standards. We want to ensure that the public can undertake homecoming trips safely and comfortably, and enjoy the Eid al-Fitr togetherness moment peacefully,” Fajar said.
Through these strategic roles, he added, the company is committed to continuing to support the smoothness of public activities during the 2026 Eid Homecoming by ensuring the quality, safety, and reliability of various public services used.
