Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Inalum) recorded positive performance throughout 2025, booking a net profit of US$142.8 million or approximately Rp2.42 trillion (exchange rate Rp17,003). This figure represents an increase of around 15% compared to the previous year’s achievement of US$123.7 million.

Inalum’s President Director, Melati Sarnita, explained that the company’s revenue continues to show an upward trend. For example, in 2023, the company’s revenue was recorded at US$548 million, then rose to US$716.9 million in 2024, and increased by around 10% to US$785.7 million in 2025.

“For consolidated financial performance, in 2023 our revenue was US$548 million, rising to US$716.9 million in 2024 and up 10% in 2025 to US$785.7 million,” Melati stated during a Hearing with Commission VI of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) on Tuesday (31/3/2026).

According to her, this revenue increase was also accompanied by rising costs in line with increased production. In 2024, total costs rose by around 8% compared to 2023 and increased further by 7% in 2025.

Nevertheless, revenue growth remained higher than the cost increases, thereby maintaining the company’s profitability.

Meanwhile, in terms of EBITDA, Inalum also recorded growth. After increasing 121% from 2023 to 2024, EBITDA grew by around 60% in 2025 to US$208.7 million.

“For net income itself, alhamdulillah, compared to 2023 when our net income was only US$57 million, in 2024 it rose to US$123.7 million, and in 2025 alhamdulillah we managed to increase by 15% to US$142 million,” she said.
