PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (INALUM), a member of the MIND ID group, has recorded the highest financial and operational performance in the company’s history for the 2025 fiscal year. Corporate Secretary Mahyaruddin A R confirmed in Jakarta on Monday that the achievement was ratified during the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, marking the strongest performance in the company’s 50-year history. The company’s revenue grew 10% compared to the previous year, supported by increased sales volume and improved commodity prices. Consolidated net profit rose 15% year-on-year, while EBITDA increased by 17%. On the operational side, INALUM also set a new record for production and sales. Aluminium production reached 280,082 metric tonnes, an increase of approximately 2% from the previous year, while sales volume was recorded at 280,141 metric tonnes, up around 1% year-on-year. This operational achievement was supported by the completion of the Pot Upgrading Project, which increased installed production capacity to approximately 274,000 tonnes per year. The capacity increase was achieved through the modernisation of reduction cell technology to a 235 kA current on 170 cells in Potline 2. The company’s performance was also reflected in its governance and corporate health. INALUM obtained a Health Level category of ‘AA’ with a ‘Healthy’ classification, supported by a Final Rating of idAA-/Stable and a Standalone Rating of idA+(sa) from PEFINDO. The achievement of the 2025 Collegial Key Performance Indicators was recorded at 85.54%, while the Composite Risk Rating stood at level 2. In terms of Good Corporate Governance implementation, the adoption rate of the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard principles is projected to increase to 87.54% in the 2025 fiscal year, up from 81.01% in the previous year, following the implementation of all recommended improvements. Beyond its strong business performance, INALUM continues to strengthen its social and environmental contributions through its Social and Environmental Responsibility programme. The shareholders’ meeting also approved changes to the company’s management structure. The new Board of Commissioners and Board of Directors are expected to continue the company’s growth momentum, strengthen national aluminium downstreaming, and increase sustainable contributions to the state. The new Board of Commissioners consists of Musa Bangun as President Commissioner and Independent Commissioner, with Indra Simarta, Ali Said, and Kardwiyana Ukar as Commissioners, and Hari Soebagijo as Independent Commissioner. The Board of Directors comprises Melati Sarnita as President Director, Ken Permana as Finance Director, Ivan Ermisyam as Operations Director, Arif Haendra as Director of Corporate Strategy, Business Development and Commercial, and Kemal Sudiro as Director of Human Resources and Business Transformation.
