In addition to approving the new composition of the Board of Directors and Commissioners, the AGM also approved four other agenda items, including the ratification of the Annual Report and Consolidated Financial Statements, and the appropriation of the company’s net profit. The AGM approved and ratified the company’s Consolidated Financial Statements for the 2025 Fiscal Year, which received an unqualified opinion in all material respects from the Public Accounting Firm Purwanto, Susanti and Surja (a member firm of Ernst & Young Global Limited). Following this ratification, the AGM granted full release and discharge (volledig acquit et de charge) to all members of the Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners for their management and supervisory actions during the 2025 Fiscal Year.
“The achievements of the 2025 Fiscal Year are the result of consistent operational transformation, increased efficiency, and collaboration among all Inalum personnel, supported by the MIND ID Group. This best-ever performance in the company’s history is proof that our strategy of strengthening competitiveness and downstreaming has delivered tangible results,” said Mahyaruddin.
During the 2025 fiscal year, Inalum recorded its strongest financial performance in the company’s 50-year history. Revenue grew by 10% compared to the previous year, driven by increased sales volume and better commodity selling prices. Consolidated net profit rose 15% year-on-year, while EBITDA grew by 17%. On the operational side, Inalum recorded production of 280,082 metric tonnes, an increase of approximately 2% year-on-year, while sales reached 280,141 metric tonnes, up around 1% year-on-year. Both achievements represent all-time highs for the company since its establishment.
These results were supported by the completion of the Pot Upgrading Project, which increased installed production capacity to approximately 274,000 tonnes per year through the upgrade of reduction furnace technology to 235 kA current on 170 furnaces in Potline 2. The company’s performance is also reflected in its governance and financial health assessments. Inalum achieved a Health Level category of “AA” with a “Healthy” classification, supported by a Final Rating of idAA-/Stable and a Standalone Rating of idA+(sa) from PEFINDO. The achievement of the 2025 Collegial Key Performance Indicators (KPI) was recorded at 85.54% (Audited), with a Composite Risk Rating at Level 2.
In terms of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) implementation, the adoption level of the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS) principles by Inalum is projected to increase to 87.54% in the 2025 Fiscal Year, up from 81.01% in the previous year, following the implementation of all improvement recommendations. Throughout 2025, Inalum also implemented its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programmes in an integrated and impact-measurable manner. Priority programmes included providing scholarships to 145 recipients, training for 110 teachers, planting 15,000 mangrove trees, constructing Solar Power Plants (PLTS) in three locations, and distributing funding for micro and small enterprises. These programmes are carried out through Strategic Empowerment and Strategic Engagement approaches aligned with international best practices.
