The Indonesia Investment Authority (INA) has been ranked second among sovereign wealth funds (SWF) in Asia for governance, sustainability, and institutional resilience, according to the 2026 Governance, Sustainability and Resilience (GSR) Scoreboard published by Global SWF. INA achieved an overall score of 92%, with a breakdown of 9 out of 10 points for Governance, 9 out of 10 for Sustainability, and a perfect 5 out of 5 for Resilience. This places INA directly below Singapore’s Temasek Holdings.

INA Chairman of the Board of Directors, Oki Ramadhana, stated that this achievement is crucial amid rising global uncertainty, as credibility and governance have become key considerations for investors when selecting partners. He noted that global investors no longer judge sovereign wealth funds solely by the size of assets under management or investment portfolios, but also by the quality of governance, transparency, investment discipline, and institutional resilience.

Ramadhana explained that the GSR Scoreboard assesses approximately 25 indicators covering governance, sustainability, and institutional resilience, serving as a reference for investors seeking credible institutional partners. He emphasised that governance is the most critical factor for INA’s foreign investment partners when deciding to invest in Indonesia. The achievement is expected to further strengthen global investor confidence in Indonesia, with INA’s institutional reputation building having a broader impact on the national economy through increased investment.

Global SWF is an independent research platform that monitors around 200 sovereign wealth funds and public pension funds worldwide, assessing governance, sustainability, and resilience practices based on publicly available information. Since its establishment in 2021, INA’s GSR score has steadily increased from 24% in 2021 to 52% in 2022, 56% in 2023, 60% in 2024, 68% in 2025, and finally reaching 92% in 2026.
