Jakarta – The TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto has described the late former ABRI Commander and Indonesia’s sixth Vice President, General Try Sutrisno (retired), as a disciplined soldier, focused individual, and exemplary figure for the next generation.

In every activity organised by the TNI, Try Sutrisno frequently attended to provide guidance for the benefit of the TNI, despite his declining physical condition. “The late General always attended TNI activities, even though he needed assistance to walk,” Agus said.

He expressed deep condolences on behalf of the TNI family, stating that the TNI has lost an exemplary soldier. “May the late General’s soul be accepted by Allah SWT, may his sins be forgiven, and may his bereaved family be given strength,” he said.
