In search of justice

Talem found work as a housekeeper at 18 Anderson Road,
Singapore. After a few months she was found dead. It was reported
that there was no sign of foul play.

I have written to our national press and the National
Commission on Human Rights. I have made inquiries with the
Singapore police. Nothing has produced results.

However, the human rights commission sent me a copy of their
letter to the Indonesian Police Department, asking that it
collaborate with the Singapore police to investigate the case. I
would appreciate it if the police would inform me of the result
of the investigation.

This struggle for justice and truth has been going on for two
years.
