The Bali Provincial Government is preparing an asset inventory team. The preparation is being conducted by the Bali Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) in response to a request from the Special Committee (Pansus) on Spatial Planning, Assets, and Permits (TRAP) of the Bali Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) some time ago.

‘Through 2026 we are currently in the preparation phase, formulating a gubernatorial decree on the gradual establishment of the inventory team,’ said I Ketut Maduyasa, head of BPKAD Bali, to DetikBali on Thursday, 5 March 2026.

Maduyasa explained that the mechanism for forming the asset inventory team will be based on the Home Affairs Regulation (Permendagri) No. 47 of 2021. The regulation prescribes three stages: preparation, implementation and reporting.

‘The number of assets owned by the Bali Provincial Government is substantial, with around 5,000 land parcels and around 4,000 buildings,’ Maduyasa said.

Previously, the TRAP Pansus of the DPRD Bali urged BPKAD Bali to promptly inventory all assets and lands owned by the Bali Provincial Government. The TRAP Pansus chair and a member of DPRD Bali’s Commission I, Made Supartha, said the move is important as a basis for evaluating and safeguarding regional assets.

Supartha stressed that the inventory is for assets to be managed optimally in the interest of the government and the people. ‘These assets exist to provide welfare to the people and also to increase Bali’s PAD and that of the regencies/cities,’ he said at the Bali DPRD office, Monday, 10 November 2025.

BPKAD Bali, Supartha explained, has a strategic role in safeguarding, supervising and securing regional assets, including those leased to developers or entrepreneurs.
