In recent years, foreign communities have put down roots in large cities throughout Indonesia, becoming part of the fabric of the country. In order to serve the needs of all of our readers, The Jakarta Post plans to expand its coverage of these communities. This month, the Post will cover the thriving Indian community in Indonesia. Coincidentally, Indonesia's and India's foreign ministers are participating in the Second Joint Commission meeting in New Delhi on Tuesday. On March 9, the Post will come out with a special edition on India to coincide with the INDIATECH EXPO 2005, which is being held to promote India's engineering products here. We will also cover the colorful Holy festival and much more. Look for expanded coverage of other communities in the coming months.
